Pink frosted Sprinkled Donut Cookies

Sugar cookie donuts :) Enjoy!


Ingredients:
Cookies
2¼ cups flour
½ cup sugar
½ cup powdered sugar
⅛ tsp baking soda
⅛ tsp salt
12½ tbs cold unsalted butter cut in 12 pieces
1 egg
1 tbs vanilla
Frosting 
powdered sugar
butter
salt
half and half
vanilla
pink food color

Directions:


Put flour, both sugars, cream of tartar, and salt in a food processor. Process for 5 seconds. Add butter and process until the butter is evenly distributed and resembles coarse meal. Stir egg and vanilla together in a small bowl. While the processor is running, pour the mixture into the tube until the dough comes together. Remove dough and knead a couple times. Divide dough into 2 slabs and refrigerate for 1-2 hours. Heat oven to 375˚F. Roll out dough to ⅛ inch thick. Cut out big circles with a small circle cut out of the middle and bake for 10-15 minutes. Prepare pink frosting and carefully frost each one. Decorate each with rainbow sprinkles.
